CLIMB™ (Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery) Through art projects and discussion, this structured program for children ages 6-13 whose parents or close family members have cancer helps them to identify and express the complex feelings of a cancer diagnosis and nurtures positive communication between the child and their parent. Each series meets once a week for 6 weeks and is offered 3x a year. This program is offered in association with the Children's Treehouse Foundation. For more information or to register, please call 909-792-3191. This program is offered free of charge.
This program is designed to assist children ages 6-16 years old with the loss of a loved one to cancer. Children bond very quickly with other children going through a similar experience. They learn that being sad, frightened and even angry is a part of this trial. The sessions help children be better equipped to express and cope with their feelings. This 8 week program is offered free of charge twice a year.
